RVA's longest-running reggae ensemble makes a rare appearance on the Révéler stage.

Unity Sound Reggae Band is a group of eight accomplished musicians who have deep roots in reggae traditions. A band whose founders have more than 17 years together, the group covers hits and obscure tunes from classic rocksteady to modern dance hall. Inspired by legends like Bob Marley and Barrington Levy, the presents a vibrant journey through the history of reggae music.

Performers:

Ryan Harlowe (drums), Rob Davis (vocals), OJ Hunter (keyboards), Mike Reitz (percussion), Charles Nill (guitar), Matt Graham (guitar), Wayne Obryan (bass), Tyler Donnelly (saxophone and vocals), and Jonathan Watson (trombone).

Listen // Be mindful of what other players are doing. Be mindful of dynamics. It's OK to not play - music needs silence, too.
