Synth-pop is the gateway to electronic music for many music lovers and we’re celebrating that this month in a special episode of Sunday Soundtracks. We’re back at Révéler and featuring three fantastic acts exploring electronic pop from different angles, including New York City artist Darling Black who makes her Richmond debut.
Outer World, whose founders Tracy Wilson and Kenneth Close will perform as a duo, bring retro-futurist, disco-punk to the Révéler stage on the heels of their recent single and music video for “La Dimora.”
IONNA’s fresh take on classic 80s synth-pop is a favorite with local audiences. From torch songs to dance bangers, keyboardist Ross Wright and vocalist Soraya Teschner have something for everybody as highlighted on the duo’s debut LP, IONNAVERSE from 2025.
Darling Black channels NYC chic in a one-woman, “brutalist synthpop” show that is alternately aggressive, gritty, and hooky. Dylan Hundley is both an actress and a musician who has delighted audiences across the globe. She is also the co-founder and lead singer of Lulu Lewis and co-curator of Salon Lulu, a NY-based multidisciplinary arts and performance series.
With only 107 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our kitchen delivers small plates crafted with care.

LISTEN // Be mindful of what other players are doing. Be mindful of dynamics. It's OK to not play - music needs silence, too.
COURAGE // The good stuff is beyond your comfort zone. Make mistakes. See rule #1.
