We’re back with another all-local lineup of plugged-in performances! Expect everything from tech beats to field recordings to hot wired experimentation.
Gewibu is Alex Tocco of synthpop duo Honeyguide’s “wild and broken” solo project. By that we mean a captivating mix of raucous rhythms and found sound. One of the principal organizers of Richmond Synth Collective, Alex knows his way around the Révéler stage and is debuting new audio delights just for us.
Tommy Birchett is an electronic improvisor who performs solo and with other spontaneous sound gurus. He frequently works with custom-built instruments (more makeshift than circuit-bent) and often adds an impish twist to his use of gadgetry. It’s expressive. It’s mind-boggling.
nova.aletheia has a saxophone and she isn’t afraid to use it. This drum and bass boss also has a system that responds in both determined and random ways to her reed vibrations. Prepare to get swept off your feet.
With only 100 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our kitchen delivers small plates crafted with care.
BE COOL // OMP is the place for peace, love, support and kindness. Critique must be requested.
LISTEN // Be mindful of what other players are doing. Be mindful of dynamics. It's OK to not play - music needs silence, too.
COURAGE // The good stuff is beyond your comfort zone. Make mistakes. See rule #1.
