Ken Kellner presents two immersive sets of old-school instrumental dub reggae, drawn straight from the legendary vaults of Studio One, Jamaica. Timeless riddims and deep grooves—roots music at its finest, brought to life by Richmond’s premier reggae musicians. Irie vibes, ya’ll.
The quintet includes Ken Kellner (guitar/vocals), Ryan Harlow (drums), Wayne Obryan (bass), OJ Hunter (keyboard/piano), and Mike Reitz (percussion).
Studio One is one of Jamaica's most renowned record labels and recording studios; it has been described as the Motown of Jamaica. The record label was involved with most of the major music movements in Jamaica during the 1960s and 1970s, including ska, rocksteady, reggae, dub and dancehall. [WIKIPEDIA]
