Shades of Gray is a popular 6-piece dance band from Richmond, VA. The group plays a wide variety of music guaranteed to get everybody up on the dance floor! Two dynamic female vocalists are backed by seasoned pros on drums, keys, guitar, and bass.
This special show is focused on the disco era (1974 - 1980). Legendary performers like Donna Summer, ABBA, The BeeGees, Diana Ross, and KC & The Sunshine Band ruled the airwaves and the dance floors. The movie Saturday Night Fever (1977) captured the glossy vibe of the time, but the music went far beyond that smash hit soundtrack. Songs like "The Hustle" and "Kung Fu Fighting" - and classics like Marvin Gaye's "Got To Give it Up" and Michael Jackson's "Off the Wall" - changed American pop music forever. The show is so funky and groovy it will be nearly impossible to sit during the show.
