Richmond Synth Collective's free monthly synth meetup is all about connecting with Richmonders who also love to create and produce electronic sound art. No single discipline, musical genre, or approach is prized. We value all tools alike from free virtual instruments to bespoke synth modules, and likewise our regular participants range from seasoned musicians to bedroom hobbyists - and even those who may not create, but are simply interested in seeing a little of what the local electronic music scene has to offer.

decAdec explores themes in fluidic fracture mechanics through the sonic techniques of modular analog synthesizers paired with nonlinear digital disruptions filtered into a poly-metric micro-house cocktail, whose subtle musicality dominos along the fault lines of atonal, a-rhythmical collapse.

Electronic and ambient artist Benjamin Mauch's music is moving and emotive soundscapes that invites the listener in to a relaxed time, with its calming sounds and peaceful and meditative synths. A multi-instrumentalist from Richmond, when he's not fulfilling his duties as a teacher at a local school, he’s most probably hiding is his studio playing around and creating meditative soundscapes on his many synths and tape loops.

Micah Pick brings a unique and captivating blend of neoclassical, experimental, ambient, and electronica music on his new album Frameworks.
