Born and raised in Richmond, Mike McAdam spent his teens and twenties playing in some of the city’s more popular bands, including his own Good Humor Band, which was well known up and down the Eastern Seaboard. In the mid eighties, Nashville called, resulting in Mike’s continuing career as one of Music City’s busier sidemen, touring and recording with many of Americana’s most respected artists. Steve Earle & the Dukes, Foster & Lloyd, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Chris Knight, Lee Roy Parnell, Deana Carter, Radney Foster and Jim Lauderdale are among the artists that have enlisted McAdam’s talents on guitar, while Mike also released two critically acclaimed solo efforts of his own along the way, A Million Miles and Tremolo.
Mike’s band, The McAccidentals, consists of allstar Richmond musicians Dave Eggleston, Eric Heiberg, Brad Tucker and Mike Lucas. You can expect a handful of originals from the band as well.
