Jazz vocalist Maddy Curtis is an award-winning singer whose tone and phrasing harken back to the great jazz vocalists of yesteryear like Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, and Judy Garland. Critics have described her performances as "hauntingly beautiful" (DC Metro Theatre Arts) and "soulful beyond her years" (Simon Cowell, American Idol Season 9).
This special Halloween show features jazz standards and deep cuts that celebrate spells, witches, bones, and other somewhat creepy topics. It will be a thrilling evening that will also include a few of Maddy’s own originals, including the debut of a brand new tune especially written to make your bones rattle. Costumes are highly encouraged!
The haunted quartet also includes, Quincy Harmon on piano and trumpet, Jack Byrnes on bass, and Stephan LaRue on drums.
