Stars of the iconic ensembles MIRAMAR and BIO RITMO form a unique ensemble that showcases their vibrant and diverse roots from Chile to Brazil.

Marlysse, known for her work with Bio Ritmo, brings her Chilean heritage, classical piano training, and a wealth of experience as a musical director, arranger, and composer. Laura Ann, a vocalist who studied voice in Brazil, returned to the U.S. to front the acclaimed quartet Quatro na Bossa. Together, with Bruno Alcalde on guitar and vocals, they perform a mix of originals and songs from the MPB (Música Popular Brasileira) canon—each piece selected or created with a discerning ear and heartfelt connection.

They are joined by a stellar rhythm section: Scott Clark on drums and Eric Toralba on bass. Whether reimagining a samba classic or unveiling a new composition, Laura Ann & Marlysse invite listeners on a journey through rich textures and cross-cultural grooves.
