An alumni of Virginia Commonwealth University's jazz program, John Bradberry merges a deep understanding of jazz guitar technique with the whimsical artistry of an instrumental troubadour. Fans of guitarists Julian Lage, Bill Frisell, and Jim Campilongo will find much to admire in John's uncanny ability to conjure a range of tones and textures within pocket rhythms. With a deep roster of collaborators, a diverse book of songs across styles and eras, and a unique compositional voice, John has an expansive approach to the electric guitar with a love for color, harmony, and spirited improvisation.
John's collaboration credits include the bands FACESHIP and Jackass Flats, multi-instrumentalist Charles Owens, and with many of Richmond's best jazz rhythm sections for many years. These two 60-minute sets present a lush and magical soundscape to get lost inside.
The trio includes Kofi Shepsu (drums) and Cameron Ralston (bass).
With only 100 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our kitchen delivers small plates crafted with care.
