For more than 20 years, maestro Bill Lupoletti hosted the Global A Go-Go program on WRIR. His deep passion for the music of Africa and Latin America inspired generations of people through his steadfast dedication to showcase sounds from around the world. Bill was more than a DJ and more than a curator, he was a connector within multiple communities and helped hundreds of performers navigate to the stages of Richmond. Bill passed away on October 31, 2025.
This special event is an open forum to share stories about Bill's passions and accomplishments among his family and friends. Speakers will include close friends and family, and as time permits, anyone who wishes to share a story.
