Corey Fonville climbed the ranks among the East Coast’s most sought-after drummers and producers for hip-hop, jazz and R&B in recent years. As a founding member of Butcher Brown, he’s performed on NPR’s Tiny Desk and toured the world, in addition to musical collaborations with ESPN and producing albums for artists like Ledesi, DJ Jazzy Jeff and more.

Sam Fribush is also one of the freshest young bandleaders and collaborators, known for his signature aesthetic and voice – a vintage 1957 C3 Hammond Organ. “Our intention is to take this music into the future,” Fribush says. "We’re trying to expand the rules about what organ trios can do.”

Inspired by the local drum shops of the ‘50s and ‘60s, Rick’s Drum Shop delivers a different kind of drum-buying experience. RDS offers a variety of vintage and boutique drums, cymbals, and accessories to musicians in Richmond and beyond through both a local showroom and online platforms. The shop provides drum restoration services and customizations, all from a working drummer and experienced craftsman who loves to help others find the sound they want. RDS also hosts the annual RVA Drum Show and other community events, because Richmond’s drummers deserve the opportunity to come together and play instruments that inspire them.

With only 107 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our kitchen delivers small plates crafted with care.
