Electrifying indie pop by an accomplished local singer-songwriter.

Blurring the lines of genre, Tyler Meacham’s gift lies in connecting intimately with her listeners through relatable lyrics and resonant vocals. Whether dance floors are open or closed, pop music retains its power to move us, distilling complex emotional experiences into art that resonates the moment it hits our ears. As her artistic journey continues to unfold, Tyler Meacham remains a beacon of honesty and authenticity, a resolute artist unafraid to delve into her innermost depths and bring her audience along for the ride.

Meacham released her new EP 'sad girl summer' on August 23, 2024. The five-song EP delves into themes of grief, hope, loss and longing over a delicate balance of emotive indie pop and folk-songwriter arrangements. Working out of her home studio, 6807 Studios, alongside partner & long-time collaborator Chip Hale, Tyler Meacham has crafted a distinct and authentic sound on "sad girl summer" that marks a departure from her previous work. The EP showcases Meacham's evolution as an artist unafraid to embrace vulnerability and authenticity, while still maintaining her pop songwriting prowess.

With the lead single "dream house," Meacham invites listeners to acknowledge the complexities of change. Reflecting on the songwriting process, Meacham shares, "I thought I was writing a song about real estate—it turned out to be a song about grief. Sometimes what we dream about for our lives is forced to change, and it's okay to grieve those changes." This message resonated deeply, with the song recently being selected as the winner of WNRN's Tiny Studio Contest and featured on NPR Music.

Opening the show is Richmond's own Caroline Vain, a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Her two singles, 'Better' and 'A Song For You' are available on all major streaming platforms. Vain also plays fiddle in the honky tonk band Mackenzie Roark and the Hotpants.

With only 85 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our kitchen delivers small plates crafted with care.
