Dr. David Moore is a freelance musician and Assistant Professor of Music at Longwood University, where he teaches trumpet and directs the Longwood Jazz Band and Jazz Combo. He holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Tulsa and both a Master of Music in Jazz Studies and a Doctor of Arts in Trumpet Performance from the University of Northern Colorado. A versatile performer and composer, David’s career spans jazz, classical, and contemporary music. He has been featured on several acclaimed recordings, including Colorado Brew featuring Jeff Coffin and Tom Giampietro, Enter Autumn with the David Caffey Jazz Orchestra, Infância with the Cassio Vianna Jazz Orchestra, and more. David has performed alongside artists such as Roger Ingram, Louis Hayes, Jeff Coffin, Victor Wooten, and USAF Falconaires.
Based in Richmond, VA, Quincy Harmon is a dynamic multi-instrumentalist specializing in trumpet, trombone, and keys. Deeply rooted in the gospel tradition of his youth, Quincy blends those spiritual foundations with the jazz and R&B influences of icons like Roy Hargrove and Matthew Whitaker. Whether he’s leading a brass section or anchoring a groove on the keys, Quincy brings a soulful, sophisticated energy to every stage.
Trumpeter Marc Roman is an active voice in Richmond’s Latin jazz and salsa scene. He serves as musical director and lead trumpet of Kadencia and second trumpet with the salsa band Bio Ritmo. Known for his powerful tone and fiery improvisation, Marc brings the energy of jazz and Afro-Caribbean traditions to every performance.
