Richmond jazz mainstay Russ Hanchin (Django Tango) brings his signature guitar style and rich musical legacy to the Révéler stage for an intimate evening of JAZZ, DJANGO, and JOBIM!

Russ Hanchin is a Berklee-trained guitarist whose musical journey has included stints in St.Louis with legendary organist Richard “Groove” Holmes and tenor sax icon Willie Aikens as well as countless club dates throughout RVA. This program of classic jazz features selections from the Great American Songbook, the sensual rhythms of Brazilian bossa nova and infectious swing of Django Reinhardt’s hot jazz.

Hanchin leads a stellar trio featuring Virginia Beach bassist Jimmy Masters (John Toomey, Scott Hamilton, Peter Bernstein) and RVA drummer Aaron Binder (John D’earth, Justin Kauflin). Special guest Allen Burris (Django Tango, Deputy Dan) adds his clarinet and flute artistry to the mix.

With only 100 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages. Our kitchen delivers small plates crafted with care.
