Electronic music is a style that has always attracted inventors, experimentalists, and forward-thinkers. From scientific test equipment, to record players, to laptops, and modular synthesizers, technology is a close collaborator with the artists involved with this type of performance. The variance of equipment and unorthodox approach to music making lends itself to a fantastic variety of expressive possibilities. This evening we're excited to show off four talented local acts that will guide you through a soundscape of tectonic drones, hypnotizing rhythms, lightning fast breakbeats, and emotionally resonant indie pop.
