My Son the Doctor has been bringing the music of Eastern Europe to Central Virginia since 2006. From local cafes, breweries, synagogues, and libraries, to the VMFA and the Governor's Mansion. the ensemble play an eclectic, infectiously danceable blend of klezmer dance tunes, Yiddish folk and theater songs, Romani songs, traditional and contemporary songs from the Balkans, Romania, the Czech Republic, and more!
