Horus and the Black Light Circuit deliver soulful renditions of original music, lending support to R&B sensation Trey Jones and sharing the stage with Hip Hop powerhouse VA Crenshaw for an unforgettable night of flavor, fun and fraternity at Intimate Friends: The Lituation. Horus Michael is a naturally gifted singer, songwriter, and keyboardist from Richmond, VA. Born in Brooklyn, NY his musical roots began in his father’s storefront church where he played drums and organ. After his acceptance to LaGuardia High School he focused on his passion for singing and never looked back. Horus' style is a mixture of gospel, bel canto, and soul, he calls himself a conduit of cosmic soul. Some of his influences include the iconic voices of Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, John P Kee, Prince, and Bobby Mcferrin to name a few.

His singles Three Weeks Later & Ode to the Queen are on all platforms along with other deep cuts and is set to release his highly anticipated project Lonely Lover – backed by the ubiquitous sounds of his ten-piece live band The Black Light Circuit.

Trey Jones, the vocal virtuoso, is a singer, songwriter, and vocal arranger celebrated for his awe-inspiring vocal range, effortlessly spanning from the depths of bass/baritone to the heights of falsetto. His meteoric rise began with the release of the chart-topping single, “Before We Say Goodnight,” mesmerizing audiences since its debut in July 2022.

Trey’s undeniable talent caught the attention of the music industry and led him to a prominent role in the Grammy-Nominated Netflix Series, “Voices of Fire.” Television audiences also witnessed his electrifying performances on the Living 757 series, showcasing the soulful resonance of his aforementioned hit. He continues to make appearances, also while singing background vocals for the incomparable Angelica Baylor. Having graced renowned stages, including the iconic City Winery up and down the east coast, Trey’s melodic journey has left an indelible mark. His captivating presence has not only resonated with fans but also earned him spots on acclaimed shows like Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.

VA Crenshaw is a creative entrepreneur, independent rap artist, and songwriter based in Richmond, VA. Prior to focusing on her music career, VA was a school teacher for over 10 years, while also running a children's enrichment program. Fast forward, thru years of collegiate instruction & entrepreneurship, then suddenly losing everything during Covid, something changed in VA. A fire was lit and her creative side emerged.

Giving back thru good energy, VA is truly passionate about sharing powerful stories through music, and inspires listeners with one-of-a-kind punchy beats and iconic lyrical lines. She is a firm believer that anything is possible with the right mindset, & giving back is a great way to open your heart and soul to the community.
