Experience blues music performed by a wide range of artists in an intimate setting. Each show includes a segment where musicians in the audience will have a chance to join the featured performer on stage for a jam session. Our spotlight performer is Henry Jones, who carries on the traditions of blues played on acoustic guitar.
Born in the midwest to parents from Mississippi, Henry Jones has always been immersed in great music. After a house party where the DJ left behind crates of records, Henry spent countless hours listening to everything from ZZ Hill to Johnny Cash. After selling an old car, Henry bought a pawn shop guitar and the blues became the backbone of his style. He has crafted a truly original sound based on pre-war acoustic and hill country blues with a pinch of rock and folk. Henry's show is a mix of original songs, interesting reworks, and storytelling.
