A vibrant showcase of diverse national, regional, and local comedians.

The 90-minute show features five comics doing shorter bits, leading up to a longer set by the headliner. Our host, Sami Tamimi, is an Iraqi standup comedian and producer of Class Act Comedy at the Révéler. He performs all over Richmond and DC. He moved to America 7 years ago and talks about his experience living with a Southern host family. Sami is your uncle at the dinner table, who occasionally loves to showcase his dance moves in between sets.

Headliner Angel Penn is a Washington DC-based comic famous for being the loudest laugh at any comedy show and supporting DMV comedy. Finally, he grabbed the mic to host and produce shows in DC, Maryland, and Virginia. He's performed for the DC Improv, DC Comedy Loft, Story District, State Theatre, Lincoln Theatre, and Warner Theatre. Has worked with legends such as Insomniac's Dave Attell, the UK's Russell Howard, and featured for SNL alum Kevin Nealon. His exploits and happenings can be found @angelbefunny on Instagram.
