Apple Brown Betty (pictured) was selected as one of Bob Sumner’s Rising Stars of Comedy, and she has performed at The Richmond Funnybone, The DC Improv, Hollywood Laugh Factory and the legendary Apollo Theater.
Lộc "Leo" Nguyễn is a comedian born and raised in Sài Gòn, Việt Nam and currently based in D.C. Leo is commonly mistaken to be the Vietnamese John Oliver with the knock-off Last Week Tonight with Jôn Ôliu show, where he tackles America’s most pressing issues (racism, inequality, immigration, higher education, etc.)
Kenny Wingle is the co-founder of Pearl St. Comedy, a renowned comedy show booking and production company. With his mixed Indian and Polish heritage, Kenny brings a unique perspective to the stage.
Amber Hendrix is a Richmond, Virginia based comedian and producer. She's 1/3 of the improv team the Hearst Girls and co-runs "Hearst Girls & Friends," a (mostly) monthly improv and stand-up showcase. Amber has opened for Dave Attell, Geoffrey Asmus, Ginny Hogan, Natasha Vaynblat, and Isabel Hagen, among others.
Your host, Sami Tamimi, is an Iraqi standup comedian and producer of Class Act Comedy at the Révéler. He performs all over Richmond and DC. He moved to America 7 years ago and talks about his experience living with a Southern host family. Sami is your uncle at the dinner table, who occasionally loves to showcase his dance moves in between sets.
