The 90-minute show features five comics doing shorter bits, leading up to a longer set by the headliner. Our host, Sami Tamimi, is an Iraqi standup comedian and producer of Class Act Comedy. He performs all over Richmond and DC. He moved to America 7 years ago and talks about his experience living with a Southern host family. Sami is your uncle at the dinner table, who occasionally loves to showcase his dance moves in between sets.
Patrice DeVeaux is an emerging force and rising star from Richmond, Virginia. Patrice has been traveling doing standup all over the country, opening for Orlando Jones, Chaunté Wayans, Tony Woods, and the legendary Adele Givens. Patrice is a writer, producer, and creative curator. She has appeared on several television shows, including News One Now With Roland Martin, Kill Tony, and Revolt TV. She has also been featured on Kenan Thompson’s Ultimate Comedy Experience. Patrice has performed at the legendary Apollo Theater in NYC and internationally in the Netherlands.

Johnny Woods is known for his unique style of observational comedy. He has a sharp wit and a talent for finding humor in everyday situations. Johnny has shared the stage with Sam Tallent, David Lucas and Donnell Rollins and has worked Clubs all across the country including Uptown Comedy Club, Wileys Comedy Club and the Funny Bone.
Nick Taylor is a comedian based out of Ohio. Nick has performed in clubs all over the country. He is a regular at the Wileys Comedy Club (Dayton), The Grisly Pear Comedy Club(NYC), and The Comedy Shop (NYC). Nick has been featured on Amazon TV, and has opened up for the likes of Chris Porter, Godfrey and Bert Kreischer. Nick’s joke writing, riffing and unique perspective has made him a rising comedian in the country.
Samantha Lukasiewicz, originally from (south) New Jersey, has called Richmond home for 5 years. Samantha has been featured on multiple stages across Richmond and has performed in Philadelphia, Miami, Houston, Minneapolis, New York City, and Washington DC. A mix of story-telling and a lot of opinions, she finds humor in everyday experiences, takes too many selfies, and loves a good ugly cry.
