Anterra is a multi-instrumentalist weaver of songs and siren of sorrow. She delicately intertwines ethereal, harmonically-rich, unexpected vocal arrangements with lush, powerful instrumentation; all a backdrop supporting her poignant and moving meditations on self-purpose and grief. A distinctive melodic and poetic voice in dark indie folk.
Opening the show is Meg McDermott, a Richmond-based singer songwriter and storyteller with folk rock roots and a penchant for soul work. Meg’s been performing as long as she’s known how to speak, and has racked up credits at The Historic Avalon Theater, the Story Pirates, The Chris Gethard Show, Saturday Night Live, UCB, WTMD, Sue Stockman’s back porch, the internet, and hundreds of live music and comedy shows of all shapes and sizes throughout New York City in the 2010s. After taking a few years to recalibrate and reconnect with the purpose of it all, she’s back onstage with a set of her most enchanting and resonant work to date.
With only 85 seats, shows at Révéler are intimate and immersive. A romantic venue with exquisite sound and dreamy vibes, Révéler offers a unique selection of cocktails, wines, beers, bubbles, and non-alcoholic beverages.
